i would totally be your neighbor! i think houseboats rock :)
this last saturday i was surfing the web and found a little houseboat for sale and was OBSESSED with purchasing it for the next 24 hours, until I realized A) I don't have that much dinero and B) it was itty. bitty. teeny. too small. sigh. i will live in one someday!
Um I also need to live on a houseboat. And I want mine to look like the ones in your pictures!
that is so cool! :) love the last two pictures!
I think living on a houseboat would be so fun too!
I love the idea of living on the water and being able to move all around. I can just imagine all the activities that would be possible. It would be like your own little getaway!love, elisabeth firstname.lastname@example.org
I loved this spread in Sunset ... and I too must live near the water. Much love to you! xo
I saw this article in Sunset and was also super inspired. Lately I've been loving examples of people who are parenting in unconventional settings and I love this family's way of making it work. Really neat.
I love the mailbox setup...it would be such a treat to get a letter and read it out on the water :)
This looks like such a cool place to live! I don't think I could do it year-round, but it'd be great as a summer home!
I always loved the Lake Union houseboats, especially after Sleepless in Seattle!
Houseboats are amaaazing!! What a great post. Thanks for giving me something new to daydream about :)
what a beautiful place... so nice to sit there at the end of the day!
I somehow missed this issue of Sunset but found it amongst my piles the other day. I like the idea of a houseboat. It's very Sleepless in Seattle.
Yes! I would live on a house boat or anywhere on the water for that matter, in a heart beat! the water can be so peaceful and relaxing. and who wouldn't want to come home to that?!
wowsa! I had not seen these......so fantastic!thanks for sharing!xo
