Wish I Was There: Coeur d'Alene

I'm daydreaming this morning. Thinking of October when it was still warm enough to go outside without a jacket, back to the start of our cross-country road trip. Our first stop was Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, a charming little resort town with one really big lake. I'm thinking about the "bowl of soul" we each ordered at a local coffee shop and how we really should have shared one. I'm thinking about road trip music. But mostly, I'm thinking about how happy some water and sunshine can make me feel.

  8. Coeur d'Alene was one of my my first stops on my cross country road trip, too! Except I associate it with those big soft tasteless sugar cookies from the store since it was my first time eating them haha (My sister and I bought a whole container with the pink frosting and probably at half of them on our picnic by the lake)
