There are a lot of things I love about City Bakery: their huge loft space, their macaroni and cheese, their proximity to Anthropologie, J.Crew, Kate Spade and my favorite paper store, the fact that they devote an entire month to hot chocolate, and their very delicious cookies. But if there's one thing that encapsulates my love for this place, it's their baker's muffin. Enormous, packed with nuts, apples and raisins, crunchy on the outside, bready in the middle, dusted with powdered sugar, it's a thing of beauty.
Looks delicious!

ReplyDeleteMaking a note to myself right now that I need to stop by and try this bakery when I'm back in NYC this July. Oddly, despite having lived in the city in the past, I still feel like I've hardly explored it.
