Cake Book

I flipped through this new cookbook, Vintage Cakes, the other day and it is a beauty. Every recipe from Portland-based baker Julie Richardson has a vintage origin with a few updates and innovations thrown in. I think it would make a great birthday present for a sweet-tooth, especially if you pair it with a homemade cake. Have you come across any fun cookbooks lately?

  4. I miss my cook books! They're in storage while I move around, bummer. These cakes are so pretty!! I love how baked goods can look so pretty!! My grandma got me this cook book a few years ago that I swear by. It's called something like The Kitchen Bible and it has EVERYTHING in it. I love flipping through and choosing something new to make.
