Bow Boots

Okay, so I'm a little obsessed with these boots from Anthropologie. Yummy brown leather, practical with a touch of femininity... I think boot lust is one of the first signs of fall.

Kitchen Revision

Changing out towels is my main method for sprucing up the kitchen. I love these from Lekker Home.

Playing with Food

Yesterday, I had the privilege of taking a food photography class taught by the fantastic Lara Ferroni. You should have seen the selection of dishes and props in her photo studio. It was like walking into a combination of Anthropologie, Crate and Barrel, and your favorite flea market. I didn't snap a picture of the shelves because I was too preoccupied with the food. Above are some of my shots from the day. I had a great time, learned some fun photo tricks, and thankfully, got to snack on the subject matter.

Thoughts of the Week

How about a Christmas in July party complete with water balloon snowballs?

These umbrella photos make me eager for a summer shower.

I'll be wishing I had this egg caddy when Easter rolls around.

Some messes are delicious.

Every girl needs a stripey dress in her closet, preferably vintage.

Looking for wedding inspiration for my engaged pal in Brooklyn is so ... inspiring.

All the reasons to own a sandwich shop in photo form.

These boats are nuts.

Be sure to check out my guest post on A Rowan tree. There's a tasty dessert to behold. Have a fantastic weekend!

VW Love

I love every bit of this engagement photo shoot down to the bride-to-be's red shoes. Looking cool is so effortless for some people.

Little House

This dollhouse puts my apartment to shame. The lighting fixtures alone are enough to inspire a trip to ikea.

So Far, So Good

I've got one more day to spend with my friend Nora, and we've been having the best time so far. It's always problematic when people visit because it gives me an excuse to indulge in all of my favorite foods. Last night, we had dinner at Delancey. Summery tomatoes, Mexican coke, three pizzas and coconut milk rice pudding with a cherry streusel topping. They've even added sweet tea to the menu. Be still my heart.
