The Time I Was on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon
So I had an eventful weekend. On Friday, my husband and I went to a taping of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. I planned it about six weeks ago and thought it would be a fun tourist-y thing to do before we both started working. While waiting in line, I was plucked from obscurity and asked to participate in a game.
So here I am on tv, uncoordinated as ever. It was actually really fun and incredibly surreal. Many of you already know how I feel about Jimmy. The other highlight was standing backstage two feet away from Jon Hamm who made a guest appearance on the show. Swoon.
For the record, my husband got A-list audience treatment, was able to shake Jimmy's hand, and was super-supportive when I started worrying about the hi-def cameras on the way home.
While I didn't win the game, I'm quite content with my consolation prize.
By the way, kudos to Natalie over at Natty Michelle, who actually recognized me despite the fact that we've never met. She deserves a t-shirt too.
