We had a burst of warm weather this weekend, so I enjoyed it out and about in Manhattan. There was a pizza dinner with friends at
Co. I visited
Lulu's Cake Boutique for the first time to taste-test one of their reimagined Hostess cakes, very serious work. I admired their
Yo Gabba Gabba cake in the window and took home a white chocolate-coated, passion fruit curd-filled Twinkie, which was delicious. And I bought a cute little pumpkin at the farmers market, which will probably be the extent of my Halloween decorating. How was your weekend?
I LOVE that first picture of the fountain! It was kind of warm here too! My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at the end of the week and then I took the weekend to relax - having afternoon tea with some friends, and finishing not one but two books. Great weekend indeed!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a wonderful weekend and that cake is pretty cool:) The weather was pretty chilly here but we managed to visit a delicious food festival on Saturday and we spent the Sunday with friends:) Kisses, sweetie. Have a great start to the week.

ReplyDeleteThat fountain looks similar to one you'd see in Savannah. How beautiful! I can only imagine how gorgeous New York is in the Fall. Enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful spread of photos. You captured your weekend for sure! I went to Phoenix Fashion Week and enjoyed the runway shows, beautiful people, and a totally different atmosphere than Phoenix is used to. It's nice to have CHANGE in a weekend routine!
