Stylish Storage
Hope you all had lovely weekends! I spent my Saturday cleaning the apartment since my parents will be visiting this week. A good chunk of time was devoted to the jumbled mess of jewelry in my nightstand drawer, which has me hunting for a more organized solution. I really like the look and the price of this weathered jewelry cabinet from Urban Outfitters, and Pottery Barn Teen (don't laugh) has several cute options, including this jewelry tower lined with cheery green fabric. And though it's not completely practical, I love the idea of housing jewelry in a drawer filled with mismatched teacups and saucers à la Martha Stewart. Where do you keep your valuables?

Oh my gosh, the teacups idea is wonderful! I actually have a friend who does this, and I always wanted to copy! :)
ReplyDeleteI love that teacup idea too!
ReplyDeletei keep my jewels in tea saucers on my dresser, in a jewelry stand and hung on the wall ;)
ReplyDeletei love the green inside that stand!
Oh my...what a brilliant idea!
ReplyDeleteI have a jewelry box that my mom gave me as a graduation gift. Unfortunately, it was knocked off the dresser when our mirror fell (a mess in itself) and it's contents are currently a big jumbled mess. I too will be organzing one of these days!
ReplyDeletei should really do that too... those cupcakes and saucers are gorgeous!
ReplyDeletenot going to lie, my apartment has several things from pb teen!
ReplyDeleteAdorable! Just came across your blog via Big Girls, Small Kitchen, and it's just what the doctor ordered. Another idea for vintage teacupts- plant succelents in them and line across a high windowsill. They last weeks w/out water and they live forever- even I can't kill them. Looking forward to following your posts this fall!
ReplyDeleteThose are cute. I've been looking for something for my daughter - that PB teen one may work nicely for a Christmas present. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteLove the tea cup idea... but I couldn't hide that in a drawer - maybe a guest bath with soaps, q-tips etc... how fun.
ReplyDeletethanks - ann
The teacup idea is so clever! I need to organize my jewelry badly....
ReplyDeleteI love the teacup idea. How wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog. It's always nice to have new visitors.
I came across the tea cup idea years ago and admit that I still think about it to this day! Good ol' Martha
ReplyDeleteI stole the same idea from Blueprint (tear)/Martha Stewart a few years ago and keep things organized with teacups... super easy to keep things categorized.
ReplyDeleteI keep necklaces on clear hooks from the Container Store though.
