Cherries and Berries


Yesterday, the husband and I stocked up on cherries and berries at the farmers' market. Perhaps we went a bit overboard, but I love having a fridge full of fruit. Maybe I'll make this or this, or if I'm feeling really ambitious, this.

What are you up to this weekend? I'll be entertaining my lovely Texan friend Nora who's here for a visit. I think everyone needs a friend from Texas.

    Haha everyone needs a Mama from Texas! My mom has red hair and is from texas and she is quite fun : ) She's the perfect mix of life of the party, yet humble and a great listener and friend.

    And of course nothing is better than fresh fruit : )

    My bestie lives in Texas, so I agree! Cherries and berries are the best. love this time of year for the fruit alone!

    Nothing says summer like fruit!! I just pulled a blueberry, peach, rhubarb crisp out of my oven! I cannot wait to try it!!...and blog about it if it is good. :)
