Weekend in Photos


Yet another beautiful, hot summer weekend in NYC, and I kicked things off right with a blueberry doughnut. Other highlights included delicious pizza and fresh-squeezed lemonade from Motorino, a fancy snowcone courtesy of Handsome Dan's Snocone Stand in Brooklyn, a breezy walk by the water, a friend's goodbye party, and a gorgeous sky over a Manhattan. The one downside: mosquito-bitten legs, the battle scars of summer.

    motorino pizza is the best. i too am nursing mosquito bites all over my legs, so i feel your pain!

    Loved your photos. You would never guess it was hot and humid there. The pizza and lemonade looked D-licious! Lovely evening shot of the city across the river.

    The mosquito bites are totally worth it in exchange for a wonderful weekend like that!

    mmm, looks like a delicious and beautiful weekend! As for the mosquitos haha, definitely summer battle scars...although funnily enough I remember when I was younger I couldn't wait to get bitten ...cause that meant it was summer. Haha weird.

    my legs are laden, LADEN i tell you, with bites from our camping trip this weekend. battle scars, i say! let's bear those beauties with pride! it's nothing a blueberry doughnut can't fix:)
