Like Velvet

 

Have you heard of Velvet Clothing? Don't worry, the clothes aren't actually made of velvet. It's a fairly affordable, casual line by Graham & Spencer. I fell in love with the brand a few years ago, probably because I was wearing one of their jersey dresses in a gorgeous shade of plum the night I got engaged. It was simultaneously flattering and comfortable, which seems to be the case with most of their designs. Their latest collection looks like it would go nicely with a summer vacation. Hopefully, I'll get a chance to test that theory.

    Love this brand. I sometimes see a few Velvet pieces at Nordstrom Rack and they are steal. Great quality and yes very comfy!

    Honestly, I am so excited to shed the scarves (which is crazy for me to say as I love scarves) and slip into one of these dresses. The styles for Spring are so simple and sleek ... fresh is the only word that I can describe it. Have you seen the recent Real Simple I was drooling over the 7 items five ways.     velvet also makes lovely (non maternity-ish) maternity wear. i bought quite a few pieces during my pregnancies. just an fyi, just in case, someday... =)

    i so love velvet!!! the other day i was at tj maxx...i was giving a gift card. anyway,i found the best dress by velvet...for $14...
