There is something so sweetly homegrown and old-fashioned about embroidery. These pieces have that same charm but with a modern spin. I love the use of fabric swatches and bold colors and the oh so very hipster vibe each one captures. Plus, the name of the shop is
Cheese Before Bedtime, which could also be the name of my autobiography.
Ah, I have a special place reserved in my heart for embroidery art. It is one of the things I peel my eyes for when I'm thrifting. Love this artist and her work! Thanks for sharing it with us.
ReplyDeleteI'm a complete fibers art groupie. Love these!

ReplyDeleteMakes me want to bust out my sewing machine and embroidery thread. These are fabulous! Thanks for posting this talented artist's work.
ReplyDeleteMay I ask what is the name of that beautiful red nail polish you are wearing in that last picture?
ReplyDeleteThese photos are from the artist's Etsy shop. I wish I knew the name of it too!
Delete"...which could also be the name of my autobiography." Ha! This embroidery is delightfully creative.
ReplyDeleteLOVE!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the feature Natalie! Now... must stop blog surfing and get stitching! PS: I think the nailpolish is OPI 'Chilli'.
