loving the tape! i wanted to do the same this year, but of course i've put it off long enough and now there's no time to order the tape. there's always next year!
Kraft paper and colored tape or a pretty ribbon are really all you need. When I package treats for people, I put them in kraft boxes with a bright blue or green ribbon -- they're festive but simple. I love that.
I always wrap presents in solid color paper, and this year I'd been toying with the idea of using kraft paper. The washi tape is a fantastic addition I hadn't thought of!
I love this look! It must be fun to wrap gifts with that. Unfortunately, my mom bought us ugly gift wrap a while back and I feel like I have to use it up, so I'm wrapping all our gifts in it and being sure to be rather wasteful (don't judge) with it so I can go through it and rid myself of it! But I am including pretty curling ribbon just to take it up a notch. It's incomparable with this though!
So, I was getting caught up on my reader (finally!!!) and you just inspired me to purchase holiday washi tape for next year (spent the last 45 minutes shopping for discounted tape!)... even though I have a billion + things to do. Planner, or procrastinator?? :)
Really, I'm addicted as well. I bought some for the first time for myself from "Santa" and have yet to use it. I wrapped all presents in butcher & white paper too and would love to add the washi tape next year. When I purchased it this past holiday, the good ones were sold out... so I'm ready for next year!!
I love that gift wrapping idea:) Congrats to the winner and wish you a lovely day
