I came across Travel and Leisure's list of
the country's best hot chocolate the other day. I'm seriously disappointed in myself for only having tried two of the 30 on the list. This may require a nation-wide tasting tour. Do you have a favorite hot chocolate spot?

We are so on the same page. Every winter, I always make it a goal to try the city's best hot chocolates (according to reliable sources), but never do. I really want to make it happen this year! I hear City Bakery's specialty hot chocolates are BOMB.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm disappointed to say I haven't tried ANY of them! Looks like I'll be swinging by Jacques Torres and City Bakery this winter, huh?
ReplyDeleteI always drink hot chocolate at home but rarely order it out. This has to change!

Good morning from L.A.!
ReplyDeleteGood Lord I'm ashamed to say I haven't tried a one! How about this: I'll take the West coast and you take the East? We meet in New Orleans for a coco at Sucre and compare notes? Ha! I only wish I could go to each and sample each delightful cup. Thanks for sharing!
Warmly,
Elizabeth
Jillian and Vanessa, word of advice on City Bakery, share! Their hot chocolate is so rich that I've never finished a cup of it.
ReplyDeleteSouthern Lady, sounds like a good plan to me!

Oh what a fantastic list! I've only visited 2 of the places mentioned, but haven't had the hot chocolate at either :(
ReplyDeleteI wish I could make beautiful snowflake-topped hot chocolate like that The Little Nell. Wow!
This is awesome!
ReplyDeleteDon't have a favorite spot -but this might become my new challenge to seek one out during my winter break from school!
Never went out for hot chocolates, really need to do that! :-)
