Sweet Treat: Pumpkin Doughnut


Did y'all see the "Treat Yo Self" episode of Parks and Recreation a few weeks ago? It's what I say in my head now anytime I grab a midday latte or an after-work snack, then I sing this.

Anyway, this week that treat was a glazed pumpkin doughnut topped with crunchy spiced pumpkin seeds from Doughnut Plant. And as we all know, pumpkins and doughnuts are two of the world's greatest treasures.

    that looks SO good, especially with the pumpkin seeds on top! have a great weekend. i'm going to the patriots/giants game on sunday. should be a good time!

    oh yum. That looks amazing.

    The "treat-yourself" episode was hilarious. My husband and I walked around shops that weekend randomly pointing out objects and saying "treat - yourself."


    Man, that is so much dorkier sounding now that I wrote it :) I hope you have a great weekend

    Haha my coworkers reference the treat yo self episode constantly. Oh Doughnut Plant, how I love thee.

    mmm, i'm going to brunch at my friend's house who introduced me to this exact donut in nyc last year!!!

    Yummy DONUTS! I will be forever grateful that you introduced me to Mighty O donuts in Greenlake (Seattle). Hope to see photos of your dinner party. Is it true that "what happens at blogger parties stays at blogger parties"?

    This made me giggle as I have made more than one "Treat Yoself" reference this week. (Another fun size candy bar? "Treat Yoself!")

    i have yet to find a decent pumpkin donut in chicago...then again, all I have tried is Dunkin and it was just a really dry cake donut :( this one looks soooo good!
