I love this photo of my mom and older brother taken before I was around, and her crowned crane t-shirt makes me smile. She loves those birds. It's not often people say we look alike thanks to our total opposite hair type and coloring, but people always say that we sound alike. Voice twins! I'll take that and the big brown eyes she gave me and count myself as lucky. Happy early Mother's Day! Have a wonderful weekend!

ReplyDeleteMy mama and I sound alike, too! This year I sent her my perfume, which she's always loved but never worn because it was mine–I think I'm plenty old enough to share it with her!
