I came across this cream dress in silk chiffon and thought it was perfect for a winter white look. It has a sweet charm about it and a sassy slit in the back, but it's simple enough so that you can layer. I paired it with a sparkly, gold jacket and a vintage brooch, and there you have a holiday party uniform.
Holiday Milk Punch
2 cups milk
2 cups half-and-half
1 cup brandy or bourbon
1/2 cup powdered sugar, sifted
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Freshly grated nutmeg, for garnish
In a bowl, whisk together milk, half-and-half, alcohol, sifted powdered sugar and vanilla. Serve over crushed ice or freeze for three to four hours until slushy. Top with freshly grated nutmeg. Makes four large servings.
