There's nothing like a southern produce stand loaded with peaches, watermelons and red and green tomatoes. This one is about 3 minutes from the house I grew up in and is the perfect place to pick up watermelon and boiled peanuts before a trip to the beach.
oooo Plums!!! That's what I didn't see on Saturday! I went to a market on Saturday and I missed plums!!! I love the sign :)
ReplyDeleteYes Ma'am- it's a killer (tomatoes) just ask Paula Deen
ReplyDeleteLOVELY. My first thought was peach and blackberry cobbler. Hope you're enjoying the south!
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with you---I LOVE a good produce stand!
ReplyDeleteBoiled peanuts from a road stand are the best. What beach?!

Oh dear me. That looks amazing! I want one of those three minutes from my house.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree. I don't live in the south, but I recently moved where they are way more food stands during the summer and I'm loving it. These pictures are so yummy =)
