It was a weekend full of variety. Saturday was spent shopping and walking around New York. The husband and I checked out the beautiful new addition to The High Line and ended the journey with refreshing slushies from the Kelvin Slush truck, one citrus-mint and one Arnold Palmer. On Sunday, we headed to the Jersey Shore to spend time with friends. Although it rained for much of the day, the sun came out long enough for a little beach time, some mini-golf, and a walk down the boardwalk. My friend even took home a prize. And yesterday, I relaxed at home and celebrated the 4th of July with a little patriotic raspberry sorbet. How was your weekend?

Looks like a wonderful weekend minus the rain. I went to a parade Friday night and then just hung out the rest of the weekend at home reading & cross-stitching
