Since my parents are coming into town tomorrow, I spent the weekend cleaning up my apartment, but there was still time for glasses of mint green tea, walks around the neighborhood and a trip to an amazing Greek bakery in Queens called Artopolis. Best baklava I've ever had. Plus, a bag full of veggies arrived from our CSA, which led to some first time pickle-making. I know, I lead a pretty exciting life.
Homemade pickles? That's so exciting. This post just reminded me of all the good food in NYC. I'm in NJ at the moment and trying to find the food I'm used to here is really hard. Apparently, I just need to get myself into the city.
