It was a hot New York weekend, but I still managed to get in a lot of exploring around Brooklyn and Queens. The husband and I stumbled upon a happy little bakery called Cookie Road, a gallery showing and an adorable brunch spot, where I had a trio of different bacons, a cheddar buttermilk biscuit and a refreshing ginger-mint iced tea. There was also a dear friend's birthday celebration, which included a perfect outdoor dinner highlighted by a palette-pleasing sampling of bruschetta.
Sounds and looks like a fantasic weekend. Glad you had fun:) Have a wonderful start to the week. Kisses
ReplyDeleteBtw: I linked your raspberry pomegranate sorbet in my round up last Friday:)
