I spotted this
slide light recently and was immediately drawn to it. I have all these warm, fuzzy feelings tied up in slides thanks to my parents' collection. There's something so sweet and quaint about those tiny little photos, their saturated colors and a bright white light behind them. Nostalgia and art all in one. It reminds me of this
Mad Men episode.

Oh yes, great way to get them out the box.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great idea! I wish I still had slides!
ReplyDeleteCute! This is a wonderful idea for old slides rather than having them sit in a stuffy box!
ReplyDeleteI'd love this idea! How fun and chic for a home.
ReplyDeleteVery clever! Plus I love that episode of Mad Men!
ReplyDeleteI have to have that! Thanks.
ReplyDeleteThese are so very cool!
ReplyDeleteThat looks awesome! I have a bunch of old family sides from my mom's childhood - that would make such a neat gift! And that episode is great... Definitely got a little misty eyed when I watched it the first time, haha
ReplyDeleteIt's such a gorgeous idea! Wish I had more slides.

Natalie, I'm with you about slides. Love them so much! My parents have heaps of them too. In fact, I have a box here, of over 2000. There is something magical about them. I still shoot film from time to time, too. It's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHow interesting! Never seen a fixture like that before!
