I'm battling the tail-end of a cold, so it was one of those weekends spent at home with tasks like cleaning out the bathroom cabinets and re-sewing buttons. Exciting stuff. This made brunch at Diner in Brooklyn an obvious but worthy highlight. They had me at apple cider doughnuts. How was your weekend?

I wish NY brunches were apart of my weekends. I spent most of it inside, but a few trips out to enjoy our nearly-70-degree winter!

Hollie, it was roasted root veggies with polenta and an over-easy egg. Yummy!

Apple Cider donuts?? Drool! We were getting our sunburns in the warm California weather this weekend, and eating waffles for lunch while we were at it! Happy Monday!
