It was a gorgeous weekend in New York spent with my husband and his parents, full of sunshine, flowers in bloom and yummy things to eat. We had several meals out, including a perfect Sunday brunch at
Cookshop. The highlight for me was a mini loaf of chocolate babka, tasty and adorable. I really can't remember a more beautiful Easter day, surrounded by reminders of God's renewal.
i was out on a stroll with my other half friday night and remember seeing the empire stat building these colors! the green, pink, and yellow was so easter-rific :P ...and NYC is SO beautiful in the springtime! i feel like it has more flowers and trees blooming than anywhere else!!

ReplyDeleteI love the tulips, daffodils, and all of the flowering trees - I really need to get to Central Park before they're gone! Cookshop is a favorite, though I've never been for brunch - making a mental note to go there for that chocolate babka! It looks like you had a great Easter!
