Shake Things Up

My visit to a speakeasy got me thinking about vintage cocktail shakers. There are so many beauties out there, and they're easy to find on Etsy and eBay. Don't you think they would look great filled with flowers? You know, when you're not making Manhattans.

  2. These are amazing - esp. that frosted mint one. Our shaker isn't quite as cool as these but it still suffices :)

  5. I've given antique cocktail shakers as housewarming gifts before. Always a hit. I'm with Ms. Prippy-that frosted pastel set is my fave.

  7. John once fell in love with a sterling silver 1920's fire hydrant cocktail shaker–I had to drag him out of the store before he spent two month's rent on the damn thing! But a little glass beauty is an entirely different proposition...
