Bridal Shower: Decorations and Details

It was a busy, but beautiful and happy weekend with my friend's bridal shower taking place on Saturday. The theme was an afternoon tea party, and even though only six ladies actually drank tea, it made for a cute backdrop.

There were the pretty decorations hanging from the ceiling, courtesy of my uber crafty co-hostess. A collection of new and vintage cups and saucers laid out for mixing and matching. A selection of teas displayed on a tray. Sweet things presented atop a lovely little cake stand. Beautiful ranunculus arranged in tall glass bottles for pops of color. And the favor was a test tube filled with loose chocolate mint tea, an idea I spotted on Pinterest and immediately fell in love with. Seriously, who knew science could be so adorable?

Oh, and for the record, I went with Outfit B. Thank you for all your advice! I might take a poll every time I get dressed. Tomorrow, a look at the all-important menu.
